The Como Ball PLUS Program is a new optional add-on for 9–12-year-old baseball players looking for additional tournaments and extra game reps, while still playing in our in-house season.

We’re forming two PLUS teams for the 2026 season. PLUS players will: 

  • Play the regular Como Ball in-house schedule 
  • Plus compete in additional tournaments around Minnesota 
  • Receive a separate Como Ball Travel Jersey 

This program is designed for players who want extra opportunities to develop skills, experience tournament play, and enjoy more time on the field.

PLUS Program Details (Baseball)

  • Ages: 9–12 (Little League Baseball) 
  • Teams: Up to two PLUS teams 
  • What you get: Additional tournaments + a Como Ball Travel Jersey 
  • Tryouts: Early April (players must try out to be selected) 
  • Cost: $100–$125 additional fee Important: Players only pay the PLUS fee if they make the team

PLUS is in addition to in-house (not instead of it) 

Every player registered for our 7–12 in-house program is automatically signed up for the Parkway In-House Tournament — so save those dates. 

PLUS players still participate in Como Ball’s in-house season and get the bonus of additional tournaments.

How Selection Works 

Tryouts + Team Placement 

Players interested in PLUS must attend tryouts in early April. Selection will be based on: 

  • Overall readiness for a tournament schedule 
  • Baseball fundamentals and game skills 
  • Coach evaluation and team needs 

We’ll share exact tryout dates/times once registration is underway and interest is collected.

What is the PLUS Program? 

PLUS is an optional add-on for 9–12-year-old baseball players who want more baseball—specifically additional tournaments around Minnesota, beyond our in-house schedule.

Is this a travel team? 

It’s a travel-style experience, but it’s still part of Como Ball. Players remain in Como Ball and also participate in PLUS tournaments if selected. 

Do players still play in the in-house season? 

Yes. PLUS is in addition to our in-house schedule. 

How many PLUS teams will there be? 

We plan to form two PLUS teams, depending on registrations and tryout turnout. 

How do we sign up for PLUS? 

Register for the 2026 season and indicate PLUS interest during registration. We’ll follow up with tryout details. 

When are tryouts? 

Tryouts will be held in early April. 

What does the PLUS fee cover? 

The PLUS fee (estimated $100–$125) helps cover tournament-related costs and includes a Como Ball Travel Jersey. 

Do we pay the PLUS fee upfront? 

No. Players only pay the PLUS fee if they make the team. Does PLUS replace the Parkway Tournament? No. The Parkway In-House Tournament is part of our in-house program—PLUS is additional tournament play. 

My child is new to baseball — should we try PLUS? 

If your player is excited about a bigger commitment and additional games, they can absolutely express interest. Tryouts help us determine readiness and place kids in the best experience for their development.
