Welcome to Como Ball!

We are on a mission to enrich the lives of youth athletes living in and around the Como Park neighborhood by nurturing a love for baseball and softball. We'll provide an inclusive and dynamic environment where you can learn, play, and grow. In-house Program

Como Ball is proud to partner with several St. Paul Youth Baseball and Softball associations. Highland Ball, Parkway Little League, Woodbury, and The Westside Boosters will all send teams and host our in-house teams over the summer in order to create competitive, fun rivalries around the city!

Summer Season Dates: May 4 - August 4

Como Ball provides an in-house program for boys and girls ages 6-12. Each league will have up to 2 games per week. Practices and games will be 90 minutes. See schedule.

Player Evaluation

All youth players will attend a preseason evaluation. At that time, coaches will evaluate players on several criteria and may suggest that players move up or down between leagues to achieve league parity.

Travel Ball Plus

Como Ball will be sponsoring a 14/15a and a 13a traveling baseball team in the MYAS Gopher State Baseball League (GSBL). They will play a 16 game regular season league schedule, take part in 2 tournaments, and participate in the end of the year State Tournament if they qualify.


8u Coed Machine Pitch

8u Coed Teams (players ages 6-8) will have two 90-minute sessions per week. Each session will consist of 30 mins of practice and a 55 minute game 

8u players will receive uniforms at first practice on June 1.

Little League Baseball (ages 9-12)

Our 9 thru 12-year-old players will be combined into a traditional Little League structure where the most experienced and skilled players will play on an American League (AL) team. All other players will form International League (IL) teams.   We will no longer use the terms "10u" or "12u."

13a Travel Baseball

All 13-year-old players and some 12-year-old players by way of special invite will play in a 13a MYAS Gopher State traveling league. We will have 16 league games and 1 tournament. At the first 13u practice, recommendations will be made to the board, and families who may benefit from a team change will be contacted.

14/15a Travel Baseball

All 14 and 15 year-old players enrolled in Como Ball will play on the 14/15a traveling team. We will have 14 league games and 4 tournaments.

12u Softball

We are very excited about this year's softball program, and extremely grateful for our partnerships with Woodbury and the Westside Boosters!   

All 9 thru 12-year-old girls currently enrolled in softball will be combined into one team. Some 9-year-olds new to the sport will be selected to play in the 8u Coed Baseball League. Parents can refuse this request if they want them to stay up with the older girls. After the first softball practice, recommendations will be made to the board, and parents will be notified with potential changes. If you prefer that your player be placed in the 8u Coed League, please contact us.

Every week, we will play two games. On Mondays, we will travel to Woodbury for the first game, and on Wednesdays, we will host a game in St. Paul. Later in the summer we will play the Westside Boosters for some games too.
